A parlay combines multiple bets into one wager — every leg has to hit for the parlay to pay. Parlay odds compound multiplicatively: two -110 legs (each 52.4% implied) become a +264 parlay (27.5% implied). Every additional leg cuts your win probability and lengthens your odds.

Frequently asked questions
Are parlays profitable long-term?
On their own, no — every leg adds a layer of vig, so combined parlays carry massive hold (often 15–25%+ on 4-leg+ parlays). The exception: correlated parlays where the legs are positively related, or genuine +EV parlays that combine multiple +EV individual legs.
What's the difference between a parlay and a same-game parlay?
A standard parlay combines bets from different games (legs are independent). A same-game parlay combines bets within one game (legs are correlated). Books price SGPs with extra hold to offset the correlation, so they're typically worse value than equivalent cross-game parlays.
Do longer parlays pay more?
Yes — and they hit much less often. A 5-leg parlay of -110 legs pays roughly +2,400 but only hits about 4% of the time. The combined EV is usually worse than betting each leg individually.
How do I know if a parlay is +EV?
If every individual leg is +EV at the price you're getting, the parlay is +EV (and combines those edges). If even one leg is -EV, the entire parlay almost certainly is too. Build parlays from +EV legs only.
