Edges are recomputed exactly in your browser after every card. No decisions, no simulation, no estimates. Every number is the exact value for the cards left in the shoe.

Why EZ Baccarat is exactly solvable

Baccarat is a game with no decisions. Once the first four cards are dealt, every draw follows a fixed tableau that both the player and banker hands must obey. That makes the game a closed problem: for any set of cards left in the shoe, you can enumerate every coup that can happen, weight each by how likely it is given the remaining cards, and read off the exact value of every bet.

EZ Baccarat is the commission-free version. Instead of charging 5% on winning Banker bets, the house pushes a Banker win that lands on a three-card 7 (the Dragon 7), and pays optional 40 : 1 and 25 : 1 side bets on that and the matching three-card Player 8 (the Panda 8). The tracker above settles all of it from the current shoe.

Frequently asked questions

How is the edge recomputed from the cards?
EZ Baccarat has no player decisions and a fixed third-card drawing tableau. That means the exact expected value of every bet is a pure enumeration of every possible coup, weighted by the cards left in the shoe. Deal a card, remove it from the count, and the engine re-runs the whole enumeration. There is no simulation and no standard error, just the exact number for the current composition.
Are the numbers verified?
Yes. On a fresh eight-deck shoe the engine produces Banker 1.02%, Player 1.24%, Tie 14.36%, Dragon 7 7.61%, and Panda 8 10.19%, matching the standard published figures to the decimal. A test gate fails our build if any of those drift, so the live tracker and the reference figures stay locked together.
Can a bet ever turn in the player's favor?
The two main bets stay close to their starting edge, but the side bets are composition-sensitive. As specific cards leave the shoe the Dragon 7 and Panda 8 edges move, and in the right composition a side bet can cross into positive expectation. The tracker highlights any bet that flips to a player edge.
Is this card counting?
It is the math underneath it. Knowing the exact edge for the current shoe is what tells you when a side bet has crossed into positive territory. The tracker does the exact-edge arithmetic for you after every card; it is an educational reference, not a play recommendation.
